Kingsland mini hockey is on every Saturday morning 9:00 till 11.00, ages 5 to 14yrs At Bridge st sports centre. Cost £3 per session. If committed for the season, membership to Leominster Hockey Club £10

Sticks and goal keeping equipment can be provided

Although not mandatory, shin pads and mouth guards are advised to be worn. Training sessions usually take the format of a warm-up / stretch ,skills session, followed by a game.

Monthly Sunday tournaments are arranged, with under 11 and under 13 years of age teams.

Lads go on to play for Leominster hockey club.  Girls join the ranks of local ladies sides, usually either Leominster Ladies or Tenbury Ladies.

Players also join in the England Hockey Association junior training system known as the Single system.  This has taken over from County Teams as the way forward to play for England, though County teams do still exist.  The Single system has seversl layers from starters for anyone, known as Junior Acadamy Centres (JAC). Then Junior District Centres (JDC) if selected, then  on to Junior Regional Performance Centres (JRPC) if selected.  Then Regional, in our case Wessex Leopards, to England.
